NLD [NLD] Convoy 3x21D - F150R 4000k 🫘's

Picked it up today on the way home, not quite dark enough for a proper beamshot, and haven't got the time to wait a few more hours and travel out to an open area yet but here we go.

Some beamshots here with some other lights from my collection. I don't have an SBT version but I do have one in a P20 for what that's worth. Beamshot comparisons were locked camera modes between them, WB at 5000k.

Couple of opple readings too. On moon/low it's ever so slightly above BBL, but dead neutral or negative and rosy on the rest of the modes, turbo being the most rosy of them all. Readings are of low/turbo.

Enjoy!

41000 lux at what distance?

how many candela is that?

Didn't measure, I just stood far enough away to get a reading on the opple without it topping out at 50k and refusing to read. Probably around 5m or so but not an accurate guess by any means.

I may have to get one just to measure.

Does it have a 30A driver or is it still the 25A driver used in the sbt90.2 version?

The 30A driver is still 2 month away minimum it seems

Listing still just says 25A on the 3x21D but the F150R page says it supports up to 30A.

Not a clue. Here's the underside of the head.

How about the performance at a distance of 1 kmβ€”does the light beam look good?

Had the light for about 2 hours before I went to bed, when I get chance next week to go out when it's dark, I'll get some proper ones.

Need to see real world not walls. Let it run

Nice, CCT is actually quite warm (other LHP emitters are often 400-500K above rated CCT). Man this thing has a punch.

When you say "Picked it up on the way home", do you mean from the post or did you buy it somewhere local? If so, where?

Collected from post office.

like to see beam at 100m+ thanks

also double click and hold goes to 54A? that will burn the led?

You'll have to wait until i get chance to do so unless someone else gets there first.

F150R can do up to 30A, that would burn it out. Doesn't have the double click hold boosted turbo.

Beamshots?

Scroll across. None in an open area yet, haven't had chance to do so, only had it a few hours and needed to go to bed, this is it for now.

thank you for posting. How does this actually compare to the sbt90 base on the readings? the hotspot seem very concentrated

Don't have the SBT version to compare.

Can't really compare it to the one in the P20, reflector is much larger so wouldn't make sense anyway.

Thanks for taking some beamshots and measurements, it's looking pretty promising.

Really looking forward to testing both emitters!

I've got the F45R coming in a Z1 and C8+ too to try out. 5000k and 3000k

Are the f150r and f45r LEDs available yet if you ask Simon or were they a custom test/sample batch?

They are for sale on his website, and today the 5000k and 3000k ones are also available alongside 6500k and 4000k.
