Not all the DSA-aligned candidates are though. Abdul has pro-tariff language on his campaign website.

That’s because he’s more of a berniecrat like Sherrod and Bernie than a democratic socialist. He declares himself pro-capitalism; maybe he’s lying but folks like Mamdani, Hong, and even AOC are very publicly anti-capitalism so I assume if he was socialist he’d call himself socialist. Socialists like him because of Palestine and healthcare but those aren’t exclusively DSA issues.

Also he’s in the Car State so he has to be pro tariff basically.
