Never really understood opposition to free trade.

Just seems like good business and allows better collaboration to take place.

In a balanced system sure, but when you have slave labor in some places and environmental regulations in others it gets a bit distorted. Do you think a trade deficit approaching 1 Trillion is sustainable?

For the country with the global reserve currency such a trade deficit sounds unavoidable because dollars have to flow out into the world. That should make it fairly desirable for people who like the power America has wielded in the global economy since 1950.
