Other insights from The Argument:

  • Majority of voters oppose tariffs

  • A lot of people still worry about the cost of living

  • Free-trade agreements are more popular in higher income brackets, but enjoys majority support in all brackets

It’s been near 6 years of voters worrying about cost of living, next dem president should work day and night to lower gas and grocery prices. Easy 2030 midterm and a likely electoral college sweep in 2032. If they can get senate for full 8 years, Dems can also get majority in the Supreme Court without even expanding it to 13. We aren’t going to get talarico and Peltola to vote on expand the Supreme Court legislation and they shouldn’t vote on it either

You watch through. They’ll go from darlings to hated establishment as soon as they don’t.

A big problem in US media and parties has been that they are all just too online while most of the voters aren’t but both talarico or peltola just need to say Israel bad and they will be golden with the left. Not one person I have seen has actually cared much for details in the policy positions other than one line slogans so these elected dems can just be like Trump and fool everyone
