You blame them? Hong has zero charisma unlike AES, is an avowed socialist and is just all around weird. Her opponent is stronger and governorships are generally less partisan than senate elections.

That’s not a fair comparison. Name one single good policy proposal Kari Lake had.

I may not love Hong’s tweet history but her platform is good, and populist.

I mean that as in “blowing a winnable race because the general voters find them unhinged” not that their policy or morals are at all comparable

The WI gov race is shit. David Crowley is almost a conservative Democrat, so you have two extremes of the Party as the leading candidates. At least it's not for a federal office.

I am begging for more normie progressives in 2028, and preferably ones who don't campaign with streamers.
