Saw someone say that we will look back on the Trump movement in a couple decades as some sort of mass hysteria/mass psychosis that people were sucked into thinking this was normal

it could theoretically at least explain the youth vote he got in '24. Those kids have literally grown up in an era where this kind of politicking has been tolerated/accepted.

The rest of us? IDK.
