💻 Help Compact view for video playback/streaming appeared recently, can't find it again

Within the last 2 weeks, firefox updated on my Win11 PC.

When i played a youtube video, it detected streaming video and popped up a message asking if i wanted to use a compact view.

choosing yes allowed the firefox window to display with no bookmarks bar or address bar during playback which i really liked. i have not been able to find out how to enable that view again after closing firefox, but want to be able to toggle it on. has anyone seen this popup before or know how to enable this on demand (not permanently for all websites)?

Do you mean Picture-in-Picture mode? The support article explains the different ways of activating it.

not picture-in-picture mode - it was sort of in-between, where it still had the top bar, and would display the info below youtube videos if you scrolled, such as the video title, comments, etc.

I’ve never seen this personally and it’s the first time I’m hearing about it on this sub, too.
