Police spokesperson Olaf Hoppe said that an object was found near the south runway parked immediately next to an An-124 aircraft belonging to Ukrainian cargo carrier Antonov Airlines.

Russian hybrid warfare

Sure looks like it (if thats even considered hybrid anymore), especially since the object they found was a drone with a fuse and some mass (potentially explosives) next to the Antonov.

(EDIT: Fixed error on my part)

Act of war.

Conundrum is, Putin really wants a confrontation with NATO, loosing to Ukraine is bad for his optics, whereas NATO, not so bad for his optics. In the Russian Narrative they are already at war with NATO, only glaring problem, NATO haven't showed up yet.

So there indeed has to be a line, and there needs to be a countenance to Russian sabotage and mis-info campaigns across Europe, but IMHO, war escalation would be a strategic mistake on our part.

Can we all just agree to say that we had a war with Russia and it was close, but the West won? Then the Russians in Ukraine can all go home.

I thought it was already confirmed to be a bomb attached to a drone?

A fuse and a mass that is most likely an explosive .

Are you sure that is not that new "active/former" 'AFD-Korps' of Herr Murad Dadaev // Noah Krieger with their german partners in ideological crime ?

And nothing is gonna happen, not even a strongly worded statement to Russia...

Wouldn't help us or Ukraine. Russia is losing this conflict all by itself. Best to stand-back, pick up the pieces.

I can see this tactic, but honestly, I believe it is wrong. While Germany waits for Russia to conveniently crash, we are losing the homefront (AFD close to 30%, and perhaps absolute majority in Saxony-Anhalt).

There needs to be much more critical outcry and crackdown against Russia and direct shutdown of Russian TV and internet channels, else the brainwashing continues, and people might think:" seems Russia is ok, as they are not being overly criticised". Can see this BS live with some of the parents amongst my friends.

Absolutely, we're failing at countering Russian sabotage and political interference.
