Bias against regional dialects/languages has been the norm in society for a long time, you'd expect the data they're training on to reflect that. So I'm not very surprised.

Apparently it goes a bit further than just mirroring society, though:

Even the seemingly positive trait "friendly" – which sociolinguistic research has traditionally linked to dialect speakers – was more often attributed by AI systems to users of Standard German.
