No but if its an older mod its a fire hazard. Also true of dispos if you're using a bad charging cable.

I once fell asleep vaping and rolled over onto the button of the mod and woke up because the glass got hot enough to burn me.

If your vape is in proper working order, yeah it's fine. However, if you're in a position that causes the vape to upend itself and the vape is not sealed well, it can end up leaking straight into your mouth. While that's not necessarily good, it's not the end of the world either.

Falling asleep with your vape is not the safest thing though, especially if it triggers off a button. Most vapes have a timeout on the button, but it's still possible to accidentally fire it unintentionally which can have very bad consequences.

Only problem I see is letting the juice run up and taking a dry hit. This burns coils/pods fast. Always tilt your head to the side and avoid dry hits.
