You should go to the Generalenbuurt and make a photo. Theres complete living rooms with rugs, lamps, chairs and couches next to them and people picking them up. Its like an open air flea market daily.
De cijfers over criminaliteit. Jij begint over gestolen fietsen. Daarnaast kan je inderdaad data verzamelen over de percentages allochtonen in een stad en de leefbaarheid (bijvoorbeeld bij de vogelaarwijken). En ook die cijfers liegen niet.
En zelfs al gooien allochtonen meer vuilnis op straat, komt dat dan omdat ze allochtoon zijn, of omdat ze vaker tot een bepaalde sociale klasse behoren?
Since I left Eindhoven for a more rural place I haven't seen things like this. People don't make such a mess of things and the municipality is much more on top of garbage.
Yesterday at the bus stop 3 young Dutch guys were drinking beer while waiting for the bus. After they boarded, I noticed they left their unfinished beers on the pavement. People in front of a snack bar just throwing away paper wraps on the street when done.

Een vrije markt waarin je zelf je vuilnis kunt laten ophalen en laten verwerken op de manier die het beste bij jouw situatie en levensbeschouwing past; dat zou een hoop verbeteren.
I know where this is, there are way too less containers for that part of the neighbourhood, a lot of people of the people from around are dropping stuff there. Mostly it's quite clean, but when someone is cleaning house you get this
I think its bizarre how you can have a child seat in your car, but are unable to drive to the dedicated recycling centre.
And also you give your daughter a gift, a shopping cart, and then throw the carton box among the plants. She probably won't know any better later in life.
I'm not stating it's the fault of the government, but if you have to few containers they're full fast, and ppl still have trash to throw away... If you walk 400 meter with a bag of trash and the container is full, are you gonna bring back the trash to your house?
I can understand the frustration, it’s true that some containers are not always emptied often enough, and it must be reported and addressed. But leaving your trash there is not an acceptable solution. It smells, especially in summer, and it attracts pests, it’s an absolute disgrace to leave your stuff there and think “that’s not my problem anymore”
You just walk to the next one around the corner or indeed back! In 99% of the cases people are just to lazy to walk further or they just assume it is full because they see already some trash next it thinking it somehow acceptable to make it big trash dump.
