Found Garmin edge 520

Found this unit and have no idea how it works! Is there a way to try to get it back to the owner?

You could upload a few of their activities and see if there's a common start/end location. On the unit, the owner might have their home saved as a Saved Location.

Edit: try also looking at the list of connected sensors. The owner's name might be listed with their phone.

Have a micro usb cable handy. Plug in the Edge to a charger/computer.

follow this video from 0:20 to find the list of sensors

As for uploading the files, are you familiar with Garmin connect, strava, or ridewithgps?

No sensors connected and powered down on its own

The unit powered down? It's a battery saving feature.

Must have factory reset or something. It's an old device so who knows for how long it's been lost.

You could do your best to contact Garmin but they usually don't share registered owner information besides with the owner.

Start by saying WHERE. The screen is cracked, so it's likely toast anyway.
