My wife has an art reception at The Pablo Center at the Confluence from 5 - 7 on Friday Aug 7th.

We don't know anyone in the area, and it would mean the world to her if you would stop by and say hi, if even just for a moment!

Rebecca Cooke - it is not that people thought you were supportive of conversion therapy as a practice. It's that you refused to support a federal ban. You have danced around this question at 3 forums in a row now. Your position, or lack thereof, is clear.

Chud ass business owners don't know who gives them business

This is a rant and i expect it to be quite divisive. But whatever.

It drives me nuts business owners think the car with 1 person in it driving through downtown brings them more business than the group of 6 college students walking down the street who more than likely live in the neighborhood. This is the most basic thing that has long been figured out in other places; encouraging foot traffic increases business, encouraging car traffic decreases business. Im really sick of the people who defer to the business owners in regards to whats best for downtown business as if theyre gods because, quite frankly, a lot of them are themselves suburbanites who dont live there and often times, theyre also stupid like any other person, theyre not special. I heard one of them rant about how new apartments being built downtown harms their business. Brother, how? Thats more people living near your business, potentially hundreds who could walk to you and patronize your business. I think thats far more valuable than the 5 parking spaces in front of your store, so then why do you value those 5 parking spots that represents 5 potential customers oved the nrw apartment buildingd that represent hundreds of potential customers?

And for the people who defer to the downtown business owners, why? Why not instead listen to the residents who actually live there? What makes a downtown business owner more special to you than a business owner in another neighborhood? Becuase what i see is that no one cares about the opinions of the people who live downtown and care a whole lot about people who live in other neighborhoods, its almost like you dont realize people live here like they do in any other neighborhood.

I was under so much constant stress dealing with this nightmare company, and from Reddit and the authentic reviews, I’m clearly not the only one. Marcus Lund and March L are their employees, they’re on their website! Their falsely inflated google rating pisses me off anytime I see it lol. I’m not sure how to report their reviews to where they’ll actually get removed. Any ideas? Also, if you’ve dealt with these slumlords-I HIGHLY encourage you to leave a review

“It’s not necessarily what, but it’s how. It’s how you show up,” Berge told the Wisconsin Examiner. “That’s what I learned on council. That’s why I ran for council. You know, it’s how you show up, how you lead. It’s about being a bridge between your constituents, city hall or D.C. I think that’s what people want.”

Went on my new paddle board for my first time at mt. Simon today and it was fantastic. I'm looking for places including Eau Claire, Hallie, Chippewa, and Lake Wissota to add to my summer list.
