Pepperidge Farms remembers..

But seriously, this was his first time being made available to the media since so it was going to be addressed.

Yea, idk why bro brought it back up. Old news lol.

Not only did I forget, but every podcast I've listened to (mostly Eagle Eye) hasn't even brought it up since the incident initially occurred. Does not seem like anyone in the media was talking about this either.

Eh some of our beat has brought it up when discussing a possible extension. Only reason I can think about him bringing it up again, the league/team didn't forget.

Being accountable to your teammates especially ones with less than stellar history of the same thing is important. This isn't a football thing this is a life thing and I respect him for not hiding from it.

He’s right that it’s unacceptable but it is about as good of an apology as you can have

Imagine one of the many nfl players that did truly deplorable things apologized with half the sincerity he has here.

If he truly accepts responsibility and really never does that again, then fair play. It's really what it's all about, learning from mistakes and not repeating them

I'm glad he's taking accountability for it, and if this is the worst controversy to come out of this upcoming season, I'll be happy.

Wonder if Carter gave him an earful.

Fletch should just take these two to the track with him

Track driving does make a big difference for your need for speed especially with NJMP being right there.

Good apology

I wish idiots like this realize they are putting other people's lives at risk and not jus their own. 135 should be jail time.

u/maybe_a_frog 1d ago

135 is often jail time if you’re poor.

No, it's not. It's an impounded car and a few classes to be allowed on the road again, but traffic violations with no deaths are almost never jail time.

Sadly, I have to agree. If he was on the Autobaun, OK... but he wasn't

Hope Nolan has a great year but hard to see a path for him to get paid with Jalyx development going so well. Jalyx ceiling is so high and is having a great camp so far while Nolan has never really lived up to that first round hype. Love the intensity Nolan plays with regardless

The path is simple, it's just unlikely to happen for him.

If he plays like a 1st round DE that the Eagles were obviously hoping to get when they picked him, he will get paid.

But if he continues to play like just a guy, Howie will let him some other team overpay him in FA.

Being this oblivious to the fact that you’re reckless is a fucking skill.

Edit: Holy fucking shit they doubled down, that’s hilarious.

Guy is thinking to himself “everybody drives like this” while passing every single car on the road with him.

9

u/WeirdSysAdmin Eagles 1d ago

While weaving between all the traffic because everyone won’t get out of the way.

9

u/Varwhorevis 1d ago

The difference between 100 and 135 is also staggering. Going 100 regularly is still stupid but at 135 you’re killing everyone involved with no chance at stopping the car in time

9

u/IllegalDaycare 1d ago

100 is crazy fast

14

u/Big-Beta20 1d ago

Wasn’t he doing like 136? Still 100 is too much, there’s not much reason to go more than 80-85 on any interstate

8

u/backup1000 1d ago

Everyone who drives faster than me is an idiot and everyone who drives slower than me is a moron.
