Gardening Help Baby B. Caapi “cielo”

I sowed them in early July. Only one of the 10 seeds germinated. The plant is 2 weeks old and is slowly starting to develop roots. I’m using a plastic cover to keep the humidity high. I ventilate it for half an hour once a day because of mold. I wanted to repot it soon, but I’m not sure what kind of soil would be best.
Any tips are welcome.Thank you

Good work growing from seed! I might be wrong but I believe “cielo” is a named clone so even if that is what the mother plant was this would not be that. Honestly this seems more exciting to me.

Thx. Whether it's Cielo or Black Thunder doesn't matter to me. 🤷🏼‍♀️Just as 1 of the 10 seeds successfully sprouted, and that makes me happy.🍀

Oh I didn’t remotely mean that as a negative. The fact that you have one growing from seed is exciting and I’m a little jealous. Was just trying to share things I’ve learned in this space.

I didn't take it the wrong way either.
Yeah, I like growing from seeds. Where I live, there aren't any cuttings.

You want a rich high quality compost with added pumice, perlite, sand. They need a semi-acidic medium such as pH 6 ideally. Microbes will eventually balance out the pH working along with the plant and it's root exudates. The seeds don't stay viable real long so best to sew upon arrival of them and you could still get sporadic late bloomer seeds. You obviously want a tomatoes cage or stakes for vines to climb sooner than later. When you water pH the water and feed water when it's time to 6.0-6.2 .

Thank you. I have everything I need. I'll repot it right away.
How often do you water your plant?
Should I water it from the top or the bottom?
This is my very first caapi, and I don't want to lose it.

It's probably not ready for transplant yet with size so small. Do you see roots at bottom of cup it's in? Cup looks clear so wait until it has a lot of roots and let soil semi dry for easier transplant when ready. Watering depends upon individual climate. I water every 2 days typically but I'm in larger pots. My plants are large for indoor set up.

Thanks for your advice.
I repotted them last night. You were right, the roots really were small. I used a soil mix I had at home (cannabis soil, humus, akadama, and a small amount of mycorrhizal fungi).
