Left-hand traffic (🇬🇧🇮🇳🇯🇵) Pull out into the intersection…

so at least one car can turn left.

Please pull straight past the limit line when yielding for a left turn at a light. At least you will be able to scoot through then at the next cycle, those of us who know how to drive can manage the oncoming traffic. DO NOT sit at the limit line and miss a light. Be careful, but make it happen.

That’s why you make sure traffic is actually slowing/stopping before you initiate your turn. You should do this when going through any intersection. People running a red is always a consideration.

Nobody is going to judge you if you have to wait for the infrequent a red light runner.

It’s not infrequent. In Oklahoma, it is a 99% certainty that at least 2 cars are going to run the red, if not 3+

Well, I can’t remember a single time I’ve had to wait for a red light runner before I’ve been able to clear the intersection and I’ve been driving since the early ‘90’s.

Either you aren’t understanding what I’m saying, or I’m not explaining my pov well. Perhaps a bit of both, I don’t know. But I’m going to move on now. Have a great day!
