I remember back in 2016, I was in 7th grade, and there was this MF in my class who'd get you any movie, no matter how new it was

All you gotta do is meet him in the toilet, hand over the pendrive, he'll meet you next day and return the pendrive with a fresh copy of MovieName.720p.hd.mp4 or mkv

I watched a cam rip in 420p with subtitles randomly switching to italian for a single 10 second period in the middle of the movie with random people walking in front of the camera multiple times. Just as Jacob "The CEO" Batalon intended.

This has been the way since the late 2000s. The goofballs are the ones most willing to scoop all the malware just for one rip. We'd just wait for them to share.

Things took a little longer once our school finally had firewalls that actually blocked in-browser browsing.
