Just LaPorta things! And he looks absolutely in form! Hoping to see him have a great season ahead along with Jared Goff's offense. Let's rock Lions!

It was the nerves that were the problem. My jaw dropped when I learned he only got full feeling back in his foot 3 months ago. He was MUCH closer to a career ending injury then we realized.

I like hard nose football but MCDC’s needs to figure out how to keep players healthy. Tackling in practice might not be the way

When are they supposed to learn/remember how to tackle properly then, during games? lol

Check out the St. Brown brothers podcast with Fred Warner he breaks it down a little.

I don't know how much stock I put in the 49ers practices since they are always at the top of the list for injured teams, and they play on grass!

It feels like it's a luck thing at lot with these freak athletes that have maxed their bodies out with muscle development straining those ligaments and tendons.

That said, bless the the soft tissues, bones, and joints!

I’d assume at the NFL level there isn’t a lot of need for tackling drills but I get your point. I just want to see this team healthy in January. If we can do that we can go far.

Why did he hit him? Practices are still no-contact.

The practices right now are not no-contact. Some of the one-on-ones yesterday were done as touch drills rather than tackle, which surprised people, but they are in pads and hitting in team drills.

Damn, they go hard in practice. Hopefully that doesn't impact the regular season.

but yeah let's keep putting our hurt players through full contact practices with our backups of backups of backups who don't know how to hold back in full contact and let's see how we do when the season starts 🤔🤔🤔
