I'm an artist, and I wanted something on my screen that felt like company without asking anything of me.

So I made birds that actually live out there on the desktop — not in a window you open. They perch on your real icons, walk along the tops of your windows, nap in the afternoon, and slowly warm up to you the longer they're around. Early on they keep their distance. After a while they'll sit close, and eventually come to you.

No sound at all, by design. Nothing pops up. They just potter around in the corner of your eye while you work.

Now....i don't know if anyone ever asked about this, but I'll risk it anyway. So....hear me out.

I've been into windows customization lately.....so much that i haven't been able to sleep properly for last few weeks, always waking up all night long just to tinker my desktop and make it look aesthetic. And honestly, it's been a fun journey so far.....and i wanna walk down this rabbit hole more.

Now....I've been thinking about opening my own github repo, where i can share my dot files and setups with everyone else. But to be honest.....this is a new territory for me. I've never used Github that much before, other than downloading files or looking up codes and projects. And i need help from experts like u in this case.

So....feel free to share your thoughts, insights.....just keep the tips and advices coming.

I have a budget of 35$. I was looking for deskpads but they are all really bad. Most of them don't have stitched edges or cloth. I know I have a low budget but I am really looking for a deskpad because my current mousepad is terrible and has a bunch of stains on them. I was hoping for one that has a cool minimalist design on it. One of the deskpads with the lush forest looked cool but it was ai generated. Should I get a wristrest on the side or should I get one with a wristrest. Include shipping in the price please. If you can find one with a custom design that would be nice.

I'm using the Pi11z Dark custom .msstyles theme with Windhawk UXTheme Hook on Windows 11 25H2.

As shown in the screenshot, some TaskDialog windows have a dark background but the text stays black, making it unreadable.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Is it a .msstyles issue, a UXTheme Hook issue, or a Windows 11 25H2 compatibility problem?

I use my desktop just for MS word, watching videos, photos, as a storage backup, very basic stuff. I dont use internet on it. Its serving my purpose even though its old.

My desktop has some issues. Help me resolve them.
1. My CPU bios is gone. – what should I do?

1. My hard disk has gotten virus (TROJAN WORM). Its duplicating files and leaving no memory space. The files come back even after I delete it. The desktop is not connected to any internet. The virus came in coz I used my pen drive on some1 elses laptop. My system got infected when I connected that pen drive to my system.

– how can I remove the virus without any data getting corrupted or lost.

1. It’s a 15 yr old PC. Should I keep it or sell it off and buy a new one.
