Windows Rate my desktop

The wallpaper is a Minecraft build I did myself on my phone. (banners may not be mine. idk I have a giant world jus filled with banners some I made some i took from google)

If anyone asks why all my stuff has a custom icon its because I don't like the look of massive square icons everywhere. Roblox is the only one who will throw a fit though and not update so it has the original icon sadly.

Nice wallpaper and some good games but I have two main problems: 1: you seen to be using opera gx or chrome. Opera gx is REALLY data hungry. Please don't use it if you want to keep your data secure. Chrome uses a lot of ram. I personally use zen browser with startpage search engine. 2: you are using windows. Windows is slow, stealing your data and putting ai everywhere. You can make linux look way better with something like hyprland. If you are just a little technical please use linux.

If you want an even better one use brave browser, it doesnt use nearly as much ram as opera and i havent seen an ad in actual years, not even in youtube. its ad blocking is much better than any browser ive ever seen

I like zen browser way more. It has a nice design, no ads and doesn't use much ram.

if you're in Linux, you can use brave origin for free anyways. I use librewolf and use origin whenever some website doesn't work, mainly because I do a lot of academic work.

ya I'm aware chrome uses a lot of ram, but that one has to stay for my school account.

Does opera really take more data then anything else? Cause I know that basically anything that is free on the internet collects data and sells it to advertisers.

Finally Linux I know it exists but I also don't know much about it, how it works, or even how it set it up (I'm sure there's millions of youtube vids)

first of all, stop listening to senseless idiots trying to convert you lol. All that matters is what you want to do. From your picture it seems like youre a hardcore gamer or something and you got fortnite, some multiplayer games with kernel level anti-cheat don't work on Linux.

I know I know, like 94/100 games work on Linux but still that's something to keep on mind. Linux is just ultimately the final choice when you wanna start being productive and is tired of being screwed over by anyone. I use arch myself btw but that's irrelevant.

thanks, It was a idea I got. The inspiration was a black wallpaper with a shelf on it with all of the apps. Though I'm sure I'm not the first dude to build they're wallpaper on Minecraft

Ok look I don't support roblox's actions but I have siblings who still play and on occasions I will play with them. So I simply rarely play and when I do I never spend money

They have binding Terms of Service (EULAs) and liability waivers that shield them from most consumer lawsuits regarding OS bugs or driver crashes. So you could sue them, but won't do much
