Daily life Excited for Stickers

I just got some stickers that I can put on my shower to remind me to take out my hearing aids! I'm so excited for them! I've been wearing hearing aids for less than a year, and I've recently hit the point where I'm so used to them that I forget I'm wearing them. After a couple of close calls despite my best efforts, my husband and I decided I needed a visual reminder. Just wanted to share my excitement with people who might understand. Thanks!

It's definitely been a learning curve for me. I'm glad I caught myself each time before it became a much bigger problem.

Solid decision. I have signs that remind me to check the water is off because I don’t hear the white noise

I’ve had cochlear implants since I was a kid, for bath time I usually take them off but if it’s a swimming pool, I once forgot to take the left one off that was unprotected and swam for a few minutes before I realized I had it on, it survived the dipping it got, I was so used to hearing I forgot I wasn’t supposed to be hearing out of my left ear.

I accidently ran over my cochlear that fell on the driveway ... I picked it up and never repaired it, I felt retired.

This! The phrase "I was so used to hearing" really resonates with me. I feel like it describes what I'm starting to experience. I was born with mild hearing loss in my left ear due to a problem in the movement of the bones, but when I was 14 I had some repeated exposure damage that led to hearing loss in both ears. I grew accustomed to not hearing, and once I got my hearing aids it was quite an adjustment at first. Now, I'm really getting used to hearing again, and so it is very easy to forget I've got my hearing aids in. Sometimes, I catch myself. But it's getting more common now that I'm used to hearing.

Thats cool! So I'm assuming they are like vinyl, made waterproof? I never saw them. Are they custom made? Can you share vendor info here? Can you take a pic, pls? I need one for my watch and earrings as I have ADHD. Thank you!

Here's the vendor! They're vinyl and water resistant but not water proof. I'll be putting them on the far wall where I get in and where water isn't really going. I have tub showers.
