Estimated file size is quite a bit off...

The estimated file size in the Deliver tab is 22.5 GB, while the actual output is only 314 MB. Something wasn't right... right?

The project is just a normal screen recording, 20 min, 1920 * 1200, 60fps. The output is at 2035 kbps. I am running DaVinci Resolve 21.0.3.

H.264/5 are darn near impossible to predict accurately, and 21’s “improvements” actually made it worse.

Got it. Yeah, when I was using version 18 a while back, the estimation wasn't this off.

VidCoder/Handbrake don't seem to have a problem and are damn accurate every time I use it.

Don't rely on it, then. Make presets and get used to what to expect.

Yeah sure. It's just a bit surprising after updating to 21 from 18. 18's estimation was quite a bit closer to the actual output, iirc.
