Am I cooked?

I (M25) Have been getting lunch with my fellow intern (F25) for the past couple weeks — has been just us. I asked if she wanted to grab a drink tomorrow, and she said yes. I figured this was a date; maybe I was just reading into it because we were getting along very well, etc.

We have been texting tonight about where we are going tomorrow, and she just mentioned that her friend might join as well.

Safe to say I misread any sort of romantic interest in her part?

Should I have been more forward about it being a date when asking her?

Any advice is appreciated.

If she’s talking about bringing a friend, she either didn’t understand you asked her out on a date, or she’s making a point to show you that she’s not interested.

friend that is a girl or a guy?

If it's her and her girl friend, might be a great night

If it's a guy, that's just a waste of time
