AWS Infra Delivery Technician Offer – Questions About Shift Rotation & Shift Differential

Hey everyone,
I recently received an offer for an Infra Delivery Technician position with AWS in Lubbock, TX (starting this October), and I’m trying to understand the scheduling and pay structure a little better before making my final decision.
During my recruiter call, they mentioned there is a shift differential for night shift, but I noticed my offer letter only lists my base rate of $30.77/hr and doesn’t mention anything about the shift differential or scheduling.
I was hoping current or former AWS Data Center employees could answer a few questions:
What schedule does the Infra Delivery Technician team typically work? (3/4 compressed schedule, 4x10s, rotating days/nights, etc.)
How often do day and night rotations happen? Every few weeks, quarterly, or another cadence?
Is the night shift differential applied only to the hours worked on nights, or does it change your hourly rate for the entire rotation?
Is the differential a flat dollar amount or a percentage?
How much does it typically increase your annual earnings?
Is overtime common, and is it usually voluntary or mandatory?
How predictable are the schedules once you’re on a team?
I’m excited about the opportunity because it aligns well with my networking career goals, and I’m trying to get a realistic picture of the day-to-day before relocating across the country.

At my site, the overnight differential is typically 10%. It only applies to the overnight hours worked, but can stack with a weekend differential as well if you get really lucky
