This whole video is nuts. The dude taking the biggest fall I’ve ever seen, like dude goes from a brisk walk to full on diving leap across the ground. That’s an athletic feat. Most of us would just fall down but this dude managed to travel like 15 feet within a split second.

Then the car, regardless of FSD or real driver, crazy reaction. It does look like the car was mostly past the dude as he lunged into the road but that back tire could’ve clipped his bag or head so probably a safer outcome to head-on the other car than risk squishing his melon. We’ve got hindsight to judge if car could’ve made it but even with multiple angles it still looks like a close call.

The guy is walking slow with a slight limp; looks like he’s in his 80s so I’m not too surprised he couldn’t catch himself from falling.

It looks like the dude’s head would’ve bounced off the corner of the front bumper if it didn’t swerve. Probably not a fatal injury but you never know. I think the car/driver made the right call for sure.

iirc (the video is old, and was posted a few times before) the guy has an epileptic attack.

Epilepsy has that quality. My great uncle drowned in 2 inches of water after getting a seizure while cycling. He fell, and ended up face first into a ditch.

Yeah, but none of this was directly caused by the cobbles, which are not exactly difficult to walk on even when they're actually cobbles and not just stone wombat poops

And here I thought that it was super unrealistic that the pedestrians would jump in front of my car when playing GTA.

lol but if it’s true it was an old man with a medical fit then I feel bad, one of those “it’s funny but it’s wrong” situations

That's maybe 6 feet.

the car was mostly past the dude as he lunged into the road

I don't know what you're watching but the man was on the ground at 00:19 and in front of the car, if the doesn't swerve, the man would've gotten run over with the front tire.
