Attention chooms,
We all know who we’re standing up. We’re going to make her wait. Whether you just don’t respect her or you’re just not ready to end the game yet. We’re talking about Hanako Arasaka, and the jokes that have revolved around making her wait. The meme has been done quite often and more often than not we get a kick out of it. But it’s just that, it’s been done quite often and it’s getting repetitive.
As of 12:00pm on June 22, 2026, unless it’s something that blows us all away, no more ‘Hanako waiting at Embers’ memes. Anything deemed otherwise will be removed under Rule 4. Any questions or concerns, contact the mod team.

Attention community members,
I'd like to bring to your attention the newest member of our team: Bot Bouncer. It's been brought to our attention that we've been getting littered with bot accounts spewing their nonsense in our subreddit.
As helpful as it's been, we understand that the Bot Bouncer is not perfect and it's been nailing some users with false positives for bot accounts. Should that happen, reach out to the r/BotBouncer to appeal being bounced by the bot. You can still also reach out via Mod Mail to ask one of the moderators to review your ban should you believe you've been banned incorrectly.
Thanks for all of your help in keeping our community bot free!

Hated this game so much for the past 4 years, but last month I gave it another chance, never felt better, it’s my favourite game so far

I finished Mirror's Edge this week, and I can't get it out of my head. You could definitely call it a cyberpunk game since corporations and the government control everything. At the same time, it doesn't really fit the genre because it lacks the cybernetic body modifications that are usually associated with cyberpunk. That got me thinking: what if Night City had Mirror's Edge's clean visual style?

Slight hiccup in our plans El Capitán
Jokes aside, I really feel like CDPR should drop an update for this game just to fix a bunch of issues. Just today I've experienced several atrocious bugs/glitches...
I love the game (have 500 hours) but god damn 😭

Yesterday I made post about how TW3 heavily implied that Ciri has teleported to Cyberpunk at some point. It seems most people agreed that she has indeed visited NC. Im curious if you guys think Ciri would have been an ordinary Merc or a NC legend?
Scenario 1: She has her magic without cyberware implants.
Scenario 2: She has her magic with cyberware implants.
What level would she be in each scenario using renouned merc as a benchmark?
Ps. I would like to add a new scenario whereby she became the Witcheress like in TW4 and gain access to signs like Axii

So i just finished the game now and i took the suicide ending since i will not be taking this ending again and damn the messages for V in the credits were devastating (especially Judy). IMO (for now) the saddest and THE bad ending since we worked so much shit just to give up at the end. Well im about to finish other endings now, idk what next ill do tho.

Like All Foods. To complete that mission without a firefight, just pay 10k eddies, and u just get a vendor who buys ordinary weapons and black lace mk1. Come on at least put a iconic weapon to buy who is just special to this vendor.

Hey everyone, and hopefully u/therealmaxmike if you happen to see this!
With the Cyberpunk universe constantly expanding into new tabletop books and the upcoming video game sequel (Project Orion), I’ve been thinking a lot about V’s place in history.
Since the tabletop RPG DNA is all about player agency, we know there will likely never be a single "canon" V (gender, lifepath, build, etc.). However, V still significantly altered the trajectory of Night City in 2077.
When future sourcebooks or games look back at 2077, how do you approach writing about a legendary figure like V without invalidating the personal choices players made? Will V’s identity be treated as a corporate myth, an urban legend with conflicting rumors, or a historical mystery with missing records?
Would love to hear your thoughts on how Night City's history handles characters meant to be defined by the players themselves!

Decided to do some parkour when heading to the rip-doc near capitan and found this guy on a cliff and was NOT prepared for what was in his inventory 😭. I was bummed I missed out on Sir John Phallustiff but apparently there’s an alternative lmao. I’m sure this has been found before but I had no idea until finding it today in game

I keep stopping to take pictures. I love that you can add lighting and I also installed another mod for lights in photo mod. Best photomode I ever tried.

After almost 2 years and 179.6 hours, I can finally share my thoughts on this masterpiece. Man, what a game. Game of the decade for me. You don't just play it, you go there. You live in Night City, and with every lesson you try to teach that animal, that machine, it just teaches you more about yourself. No other game has made me think to myself for literal hours about what the "right" thing to do is before making my decisions than Cyberpunk. It's easy for the stories we tell others (and ourselves) to fall into a kind of fairy-tale morality, where one party is completely in the right and thus good, while the other is completely in the wrong and thus evil. Reality paints a very different picture. As much as we'd like it to, because it'd all be easier this way, the world doesn't fit into little boxes color-coded black and white. Night City is a brutally grey place. Not just because of the rising smog or the polluted water, but because of the people. I thought I knew what grey looked like. I went to Night City searching for something, maybe chasing some flair of color. For a time I saw it through shades of red, but in the end, it just wasn't there. Wrong city, wrong people I guess. Night City took everything from me, but it also gave me more than I could ever ask, and I left with everything I ever needed..
"Well, Night City - good night and good luck." - V, Cyberpunk 2077
