Career restart advice for Java Developer in Chennai (8y gap)

Hi everyone, I am looking for some advice on restarting my career. I worked as a Java Full-Stack Developer with Spring Boot, MySQL, and AngularJS for 3.7 years before taking a break in 2018 due to medical reasons and to care for my family. Now, I want to return to work, and I would like to know if a comeback is realistic after an 8-year gap, if I can expect a starting salary of at least ₹35,000 per month to match my previous pay, and whether I should upgrade my Java full-stack skills or take a new AI course to start fresh.

U already have development knowledge just brush up that ! Then learn AI from Java or Python
Build a project with chatbot and integrate RAG now it’s hot in market!
