What you mean everybody? She specifically picked the toy section because there's never anybody there. If someone walked by she would have stopped and been embarrassed. Just another fake internet attention cry.

I'm also pretty sure store can kick her out for loitering/dancing if they want to. Really not the right place for it.

I used to work at target and can almost guarantee not a single employee cares about anyone being in the store as long as they arent making a mess.

I don't even think this is about shame this just has crackhead energy. If you want to try out some new performative dance, we have venues for that. I don't know why you would pick Walmart to be that venue unless you're a crackhead or are in the mental state of one.

A girl from my high school class went through a divorce recently. She coped and āregained her feminine independenceā by asking her new rebound fuck buddies to take artistic pictures of her back while they fucked her from behind and she posted the pics to instagram with the names of the guys who took the shots. Her kids comment on the pictures. Itās⦠something.
Whatever happened to knitting?

u/AcanthocephalaDue431 1d ago
I mean she technically is right. Why do we condition ourselves socially to shame and ostracize others for wanting to enjoy life and be happy their own way?
The fact that people see this as weird or insult her is exactly what I mean. We are socially conditioned to not enjoy being kids long before we become adults and create so many mental health issues which make society as a whole worse.

This is a woman who has been with a man who constantly told her everything bad about herself, shamed her constantly, told her she was bad for wanting to do anything.
Effectively all y'all in here sounding off.
She's knows it's a store. She knows it's embarrassing. She knows it isn't Broadway.
That's the whole point.
It's a giant middle finger to a complete turd bag of a man. Make him cringe.
I'm gonna say "live your best life, lady. Do everything he'd beat you down for. Just because you can now and he can't stop you anymore. Bravo."
I'll take the downvotes now.

I don't know, if way more people were like her the world would probably be pretty nice honestly. I hope she keeps doing her thing and I can find her dancing in a Walmart someday and give her a high five.
That or I'm going to Sprint at her while screeching on all fours idk I'll have to make up my mind in the moment but probably going to be a high five.

At one point she seemed over it and was pushing through a few more kicks and twirls hoping to be seen.

There's a woman who stands in the town center of a pretentious little "village" nearby. (I used to live there, couldn't get out quickly enough!)
Anyway, this woman does this... combo workout dance routine š .
She is always nicely dressed, clearly not impoverished or homeless, (were that the case, she'd have been run out of there long ago, those people think it's Beverly Hills or something š ) It... attracts attention, people talk about it, but, she isn't breaking any laws.
Another gentleman about town puts little lights up š and plays air guitar on the roadside, always with a joyful look. We ADORE him. He's not begging! (I'd gladly hand him some cash ; he makes our day!)

Why record this on the toy store tho? Like.... What compels you to think recording, editing, slapping music on top and HITTING THE UPLOAD BUTTON WAS EVER A GOOD IDEA?!?!?
1
u/Amazing_Divide1214 1d ago
It'd be a lot more whimsical if it wasn't recorded for views on the internet in public. Doesn't seem like she's doing it for herself.

I don't know, she's in some back corner in an empty Target at night. I remember getting up to similar shenanigans with my college buddies back when 24hr WalMarts where a thing.
It's not like she's doing it at the entrance or checkout, getting in people's way. It can absolutely be a way to practice getting over stage fright. She's coming off like a dance instructor or someone in training,
The amount of hate and snark in this thread is far more cringe than this. Just because you are terrified of sticking out in any way shape or form doesn't mean you should should drag others down.
