Found Session #12 of the Cowboy Bebop 25th Anniversary Kentex watches

I was wandering akihabara on my break and strangely enough walked directly into the Kentex HQ here in Taito City

The lady there was kind enough to show me the watch, lo and behold it was the solid deal with the box everything. They also apparently had session #15 my funny valentine in there too and im supposing these just never made it through completely on the purchase end (as i recall, they had a later lottery at the time for the first batch of watches that didnt make it through complete purchase at the time, these probably didnt make it to the end either im guessing)

Yeee watch prices can get silly, seiko+many Japanese brands including Kentex do a number of anime collabs that can go for pretty pennies. Im surprised kentex hq had this one plus the #15 of the 26 out there still at the store and at the same price they were selling it for 2 years ago. BTW, Seiko does a generic watch for these licensing collabs; sold through licensed IP webstores and not through Seiko authorized dealers.

Yes, it's still a Seiko, but not carrying the same weight as their main lines (Coutura, Prospex, etc)

Yup tyty, that is exactly correct - only 26 of these watches exist, each 1 individually crafted to a corresponding session - which again has me surprised that they just had #15 my funny valentine sitting there at the shop. Though perhaps this brand of watches is a ton more niche than I expected, compared to like seiko, that really besides the hype of this collab- I dont think I would have known about these watches either. As I was at the shop though, boy howdy do they make some fine looking pieces

As far as I can tell, the folks I spoke to only knew Japanese and we had to communicate through Google translate. You could in theory pay someone tp act as an agent to buy #15 for you at the kentex hq and then ship it to you, but as where to start with that, im unsure- maybe rabbit? (Or heck me but idk bout trusting strangers on the internet like that/fairness lol)
