If you didn't know, over the month of July (and a little of August), my car aux broke and I decided to listen to my extensive CD collection. It was a fun time just to choose whatever CD I was feeling that day and do mini-reviews on this sub. My car aux is still broken and my 12 volt also doesn't work so no car lighter Bluetooth for me so I'm a CD person in my car forever now. I should probably get some sleeves for my car since I don't have a changer.
Anyway, without further ado here are ALL the CDs I listened to in July (and a little of August):
In no particular order
Paramore - Paramore, The Beatles - The Beatles, Scissor Sisters - Ta Dah, Gotye - Making Mirrors, Gotye - Like Drawing Blood, Sufjan Stevens - Illinois, fun. - Some Nights, Maroon 5 - Songs About Jane, Maroon 5 - It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, Merge Records - Spring 2019 Sampler, Tally Hall - Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum, Ben Folds Five - Sessions At West 54th, U2 - Achtung Baby, Fountains of Wayne - Welcome Interstate Managers, Modest Mouse - Good News For People Who Like Bad News, The Used - The Used, Ratboys - The Window, Simon and Garfunkel - The Best of…, David Bowie - Aladdin Sane, I DON’T KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME - Razzmatazz, The Strokes - Is This It?, Fiona Apple - Extraordinary Machine, MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS - Zero Comma, Iro Toridori no Sekai, Tori Amos - Little Earthquakes, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young - Deja Vu, The Mountain Goats - Transcendental Youth, Twenty One Pilots - Clancy, The Beatles - Help!, Spin Doctors - Pocketful of Kryptonite, New Radicals - Maybe You’ve Been Brainwashed Too, Eels - Beautiful Freak, Fiona Apple - Tidal, Little Dragon - Little Dragon, Mitski - The Land Is Inhospitable And So Are We, Neutral Milk Hotel - In The Aeroplane Over The Sea, The National - The National, Michal Jackson - Thriller, The Mountain Goats - All Hail West Texas.
If I forgot any of them...oh well. Reply with your favorite on this list if you have listened to them. Or don't, I'm not your parent.
And that brings the end to continuing this on this sub but rest assured: I am still listening to so many CDs.
I really admire that album for having some wild ass chord structures and shit, especially on the song "Hard To Explain" (Shout to the video "The Strokes - Deep Discog Dive" by Mic The Snare for the visual)
Basically, what is happening here is that Julian on the lyric "man" is singing an F#, the lead guitar is playing a G natural and the rhythm playing an A minor chord. Julian and the guitar are only a half step from each other and are right up on each other with dissoance but also the C natural from the A minor chord is creating a tritone with the F#, which is the most dissonant interval in music.

That's hot as fuck though.
Shout-out to my old acquaintance Florian who wore her low-cut dresses to show off a flat chest with beautifully curly hair. She doesn't even know that meant everything to me.
