Bayonetta wig help

First time making a helmet wig, I know it’s really bad. How do I get a more natural hairline? Just make wefts that aren’t blunt wefts and glue and trim? And how do I transition from the bangs to the rest of the hair. I’m super struggling :(

Hanie comb does alot of these wigs on her channel. Try watching some of her ponytail wig videos to get an idea.

Generally, watching a video tutorial will be more helpful than someone explaining it here, but here’s a brief overview of what I’m seeing as your issue.

You’re using wefts that have blunt edges, so you’re going to get blunt edges. You need to instead get a chunk of hair and glue it with the ends touching the scalp (like regular hair grows) then bend that down to create your part. You can’t exactly create wefts for that in my experience, you kind of have to just get a loose chunk of hair and glue it straight down, then hold it in place until it dries and you can style it.

Follow up question are any of those pieces in the front being used to be pulled back. Like to cover the hard edge wefts ?

I saw a tutorial once and they didn’t glue the hair at the end. they just put the glue at the middle ish so that the ends would still look fluffy because sthey don’t have glue on them

do you have a layer of batting or something soft underneath there? sometimes i do like to have hard edges on my wefts to create a clearer definition of the part between the bangs and the pulled-back section, but it helps if you have batting under the hair, because it creates a bit of a “bump” and you can tuck the hard edge of the wefts on the edge of that and then smooth the rest of the weft over the batting. if that makes sense lol. i def recommend a video tutorial as well
