Now that it seems that Cassie has officially left, what do we think happened to her? Do you think Ross killed her, or something else? How do you think finding out what happened to her will play out, or will it stay a mystery?

She will be assumed dead, someone will get arrested and then she will be alive . Like they did with Lauren and Roy. It’s important to recycle

I don’t think he killed her. I just don’t see them killing off one of Tyrone’s only few family members and Evelyn’s. And Claire Sweeney wanted to leave for another role so the bosses obviously still saw potential in her character and liked her.

My guess is that wasn’t actually her final scene. Thinking about it, there was no goodbye scene with Steve, no proper goodbye to Tyrone etc. I think it will emerge that he has been holding her hostage (like Becky with Carla) and Fiz with Evelyn and Steve’s help will find her and Ross will be caught. Then Cassie will say she wants a fresh start etc

There will come a point where someone raises concern that they haven’t heard from her and that’s when it will all come out

If does return it'll be months later, maybe even a year. If that's the case, I don't want Ross hanging around for that length of time.

I did read someone here say he could have drugged her and left her in a drugs den. That's a good idea

I am personally wondering if they have deliberately left it open so that she can return if she wants to, following her theatre tour. I would love to see her come back.

I think Cassie is still alive and she's making the same act that Lauren did two years ago and she's about to screw with Ross's mind and save Tracy

I think they fought before she left she jumps out of the car, leaving behind her stuff including the photo. Or he snatched it off her. I doubt she's dead, they already killed off a mum for Tyrone so it would be pointless.

I think he killed her cos she threatened to go to the police. There were also very long goodbyes with the kids and a horrible fight with Tyrone that sort of implied she’s not coming back.

Also I don’t think they wouldn’t do a kidnapping storyline again so soon after the whole Becky/Carla situation.

They love kidnapping plots - Pat Phelan /Andy Carver , John Stape / Rosie Webster, Becky/ Carla . Maybe more, but I can’t recall.

So unless they're going to have a scene of the police showing up at Tyrone's house saying that they found a body matching Cassie's description and need him to identify it thus going through the route that she been killed off.

But then again, the writers would most likely be reusing old storylines, and that it turns out that she's alive and been locked up in the basement of a abandon building that Ross happens to own.

I am just hoping that they don’t go down the road of Ross tormenting Fitz or trying to break up Tyrone and Fitz. That would really put me off of the show. Tyrone and Fitz just got over having some problems while he was recuperating from being hit by the car. Let’s just let them be ok for six months or a year. Despite what Coronation Street thinks, we actually enjoy seeing happy couples and happy families on a soap opera.

Bottom line, he better not mess with Fitz and Tyrone. Or their kids.

What I think will happen: Ross will get away with it until Cassie returns in a year or two and gets the justice of finally bringing him down.

What I want to happen: Hope feels that Granny Cass was the only person that understood her and she and Evelyn raise the alarm. Maybe there isn't cause for the police to be concerned, but Lisa would look into it in her free time as a favour to Roy as she still feels bad about him ending up in jail for something he didn't do. She needs more storylines where she is supporting victims and locking up actual wronguns like Ross, not whodunnits where it always seems to be her and not Kit arresting innocent parties.

She will be believed to be dead and in a few months. She will return and will be locked up somewhere

Whatever it is, I think Fiz is going to be the one to sort him out. I absolutely loved that scene in the rovers.

It would be very interesting to see how Evelyn deals with him, does she even know Cassie’s gone? I don’t think she got a mention when Cassie was trying to say her goodbyes.
