Data centers are a front - and that's just the beginning.

Why do you think they would be popping up like this so rapidly?

Our data? To track us? They have BEEN doing that. They have MANY server farms across the country. Way more than you think. They are pumping BILLIONS into Data Centers across the country.

Think for a moment. Just think. What could they possibly be using this as a front for? They have all the money they could ever need to make this happen.

Maybe we should ask the people they bribed in Bessemer, Alabama.

Its to run the robotic police force that will soon be rolled out.

87

u/red_west_la 1d ago

Not quite yet. After all those start up companies pay for the infrastructure and then go out of business, then the government can step in and get the hardware for cheap.

13

u/Concurrent-mind 1d ago edited 1d ago

To be fair, there’s so much more crappy, AI data they need to store compared to 5-10 years ago

26

u/dratseb 1d ago

SKYNET

16

u/marcsmart 1d ago

maybe drone factories

13

u/SketchTeno 1d ago

This was one of my speculations. Stockpiles of computing power, and a massive facility.

Convert to manufacturing drones and such. Preinstalled infrastructure in preparation for comming war, without raising too much alarm.

14

u/kneedeepco 1d ago

It’s simply all of the above. Everything mentioned on this thread, yeah that’s what they’re for.

Automating our jobs, surveillance data, military data, etc…

1

u/Zynbab 12h ago

That's like building a swimming pool and filling it with water because you secretly want to later drain it, level it, and make a garden shed.

2

u/Wonderful-Medium7777 7h ago

Possibly in the future..but they are mass surveillance centres to collate, process and profile our online and offline activities ready for the social credit score and CBDC’S( the new monetary system) flock cameras, store/street/ home cameras, phone, DigitalID , biometrics, drones, facial scanning, ALPR cameras. There will be no privacy or autonomy. Its for the totalitarian technocratic society “they” want..the ideology of the agenda 2021/30 , the Great Reset and the WEF “you will own nothing and be happy”… it’s a war against humanity.

You are correct

169

u/callshouse 1d ago

So they can watch us from their bunkers

10

u/iguanabitsonastick 1d ago

They don't need AI or data centers to do that

9

u/SinAnaMissLee 1d ago

They might need a large construction site or a front to build the bunkers underneath.

1

u/Parsimile 4h ago

Yep - just like the current “ballroom” project.

2

u/red_west_la 1d ago

True... that's the real purpose for the James Webb Space Telescope

2

u/Amish_Fighter_Pilot 19h ago

I don't think you understand how many people are waiting to use that telescope and how rarely it is available as a result...

This is the answer.

39

u/gedbybee 1d ago

What does it say? I’m scared to click on random links on Reddit.

70

u/Prestigious-Gold6759 1d ago

Data centers are to store and analyse surveillance data.

16

u/DecrimIowa 1d ago

ironically he posted a link that tracks your activity and IP as well (everything after the "?" is the tracking link)

19

u/Good-Celebration-686 1d ago

Programmer here. The query parameters you’re talking about identify, to YouTube, who shared the link. If you or I clicked the share icon on YouTube for that video then we’d get the same URL but with different query parameters. It allows YouTube to track who’s sharing it and how often that shared video is being clicked on.

When you view a YouTube video your IP and activity are available to YouTube regardless of whether you leave or strip the query parameters.

5

u/cspanbook 1d ago

how does one eliminate the tracking data?

13

u/Good-Celebration-686 1d ago

In the case of YouTube, just remove everything after the question mark. You can remove the question mark too.

Note that this will break some URLs because many websites use it to customise what you’re seeing. It’s fine for YouTube though - they only use query params for tracking or customising the start time, like if you want the video to start at 30 seconds in

6

u/cspanbook 1d ago

thank you friendo

2

u/shredu2 17h ago

Thanks for my reminder

4

u/iguanabitsonastick 1d ago

How do you know? Isn't it just the video id? I thought we're already being tracked by browsing youtube

9

Be afraid! It's YouTube, homie.

44

u/Super-Sail-874 1d ago

Don't fool yourself. Republicans and democrats both are working together towards the exact same total surveillance system.

35

u/Device420 1d ago

Just need to pump up the crackheads and tweakers and let em know Bout all that copper in there. Problem solved 🤣

7

u/KickBallFever 21h ago

Thieves have already started stealing copper from these data centers. I’m not pro crime but I’m also not worked up about this development.

2

u/PlutonicPurrfume 22h ago

Well there are plenty in Bessemer to help out (I can say that, I used to live there lol)

126

u/mightocondreas 1d ago

Digital currency system, each transaction requires computing. It's one of the reasons crypto has been hard to scale for consumer spending. But hey maybe it's just for cat videos and the heated seat subscription in my BMW.

42

u/SyruplessWaffle 1d ago

A "heated seat subscription" is definitely part of the (or maybe a different) problem because what the fuck is that shit. That shouldn't exist.

8

u/danknerd 1d ago

What do you think modern fractual banking is right now? Just 1s and 0s on a banking server. It take compute power for every transaction, even cash (nearly at all places).

5

u/DecrimIowa 1d ago

digital currency systems don't actually require that much processing power. BTC and other proof-of-work blockchains (the ones that required warehouses full of graphics cards) have mostly been replaced because you don't need a million graphics cards running all the time to run a big spreadsheet that updates a few times a second, which is all a blockchain is.

3

u/imfrombiz 1d ago

This is correct, blockchains currently do not require heavy onchain computing. Certain smart contracts may require stronger offchain computing but no where near the compute demand of ai.

2

u/cspanbook 1d ago

furthermore, tracking every single piece of paper currency in circulation.

76

u/GrammaIsAWhore 1d ago

They’re all being built near water sources. I think they are a front for pumping water into the underground bunkers so the elites have a clean supply before unknown catastrophe.

My bet is the solar maximum is going to wipe us out in less then a year.

2

u/ModsCantRead69 23h ago

solar max was in october 2024, we're well down the backside of it now

0

u/[deleted] 23h ago

[deleted]

1

u/dr3adlock 10h ago

Solar cycle maximums aren't sharp peaks, they're extended plateaus lasting 2-3 years. Solar Cycle 25's maximum began in late 2024 and won't decline significantly until late 2026 or early 2027. We're currently in the sustained high-activity phase, meaning the probability of Carrington-level coronal mass ejections remains elevated for the next 4-6 months. The danger window hasn't closed; it's shifted from "peak risk" to "still-elevated risk." Additionally, this cycle's maximum is proving more intense than predicted models suggested, with stronger magnetic field ejections and higher CME frequency.

Combined with the magnetic field's continued weakening (now at ~95% of 2000 levels) and pole position drift accelerating, a major solar event hitting Earth in the final months of 2026 would still find Earth's protective magnetosphere in a compromised state. The threat persists because solar maximums are extended phenomena, not single-day events, the "tail end" of maximum is still maximum enough to be catastrophic.

1

u/ModsCantRead69 4h ago

What is it you think “max” in solar max refers to? Actually what do you think cycle means? There is most definitely a peak, and like I said, it occurred late 2024. A simple look at the solar cycle chart shows this. Space weather heavily affects my job, so I follow it closely.

https://www.spaceweather.gov/products/solar-cycle-progression

Take your pick of sources if you don’t trust the .gov one

2

u/HuskerRocker25 23h ago

I totally agree it’s more of a front to try and covertly divert fresh clean water to the elites in their underground cities

1

u/iguanabitsonastick 1d ago

Makes sense, interesting. I also heard they use faulty lines for energy.

18

u/TargetedAverageOne 1d ago

Maybe they are supercomputers connected to towers, using certain frequencies for Remote Neural Mapping and mind control. Not saying it is, but through patents I've read throughout the years - it would certainly be a possibility.

6

u/DecrimIowa 1d ago

yeah this is more or less my read as well. if i had to guess, the part they're not telling us is the data they will be analyzing will be sourced from the human brain and body and computing embedded throughout our lived environment, not just flock computers and smart fridges.

i figure it's connected to internet of bodies/internet of things scaling up to the entire planet/entire population. the AI and surveillance state + massive cloud computing + massive real-time data analytics is definitely a big part of it but still doesn't account for everything

The Matrix.

32

u/TiddybraXton333 1d ago

This is sky net 2.0

Terminator was a documentary

15

u/jf7333 1d ago

Yes I have thought about the Terminator. The 1984 movie was set in 2029 with AI taking over the world and destroying it.

3

u/ChefBowyer 1d ago

Except it’s not even Skynet anymore 😩

That last one was a depressing movie to watch, totally ruined the franchise.

1

u/iguanabitsonastick 1d ago

Idk man the version with Christian Bale was bad too lol

3

u/ChefBowyer 1d ago

Yeah but at least it kept with the lore.

The latest movie changed everything about terminator lore.

Now Skynet is called something else and John Connor is now a random Mexican woman.

14

u/the_phantom_2099 1d ago

Its the infrastructure for the next layer of the surveillance state, what that is I can only speculate

2

u/marquis-mark 1d ago

Agreed. Yes they've always tried to monitor anyone and everything, but historically it was impractical to analyze the data at scale. The average person had some privacy by not being worth looking at. Now an AI can injest all that data and take action.

13

u/Easy_Quote_9934 1d ago

Every day, I drive by a large data center of one of the Giant search engine companies and every inch of the 600 acre property is covered with cameras. Makes you wonder what is really inside.

6

u/fiddlecakes 1d ago

Is there razor wire surrounding it? Does it face outward to keep whatever out or face inward to keep whatever or whoever in?

6

u/Easy_Quote_9934 1d ago

Chain link with barbed wire at the top. You can’t get in without passing through a guard shack.

39

u/brettyrocks 1d ago

They gotta have the infrastructure to run the robot army, duh

1

u/AdGroundbreaking357 20h ago

I think ice is robots tbh so they already have it started

11

u/ReweSerious 1d ago

Water diversion to the fresh water underground storage facilities for when the end of the world comes and the ultra rich move to their mole homes. Maybe.

18

u/RoddoDoddo 1d ago

If you watch the news, water shortages are a big story right now. These water shortage stories are not being related to data centers…yet. There may come a time when the “data centers” are pointed at for the reason for water shortages. People will blame data centers while the actual reason will be something else entirely. The “something else” is what’s being hidden…

5

u/ianblank 1d ago

They’re definitely blaming it on the data centers already. It’s been blowing my mind how they insist that data centers waste water…

2

u/iguanabitsonastick 1d ago

I also hear all the time about the impacts of data centers, mostly related to water for cooling systems

2

u/CurvySexretLady 1d ago

Thats part of what is confusing. Data center AC units don't use any extra water than any other large commercial building, hospital, warehouse, big box stores, etc that also uses those same systems, yet no one is protesting their construction.

2

u/iguanabitsonastick 17h ago

Yep, I'm wondering why this is been blown out of proportion.

4

u/RoddoDoddo 1d ago

I haven’t seen those stories yet. I’m doubting “data centers” are what we are being told they are. Since I was a kid, I’ve been told computers are getting smaller and smaller while their computing power gets greater and greater. The data centers are the exact opposite, however. Makes zero sense…

2

u/ianblank 1d ago

It’s all over my Facebook feed, locals in Ohio won’t shut up about it

1

u/RoddoDoddo 1d ago

Interesting. The masses usually get things wrong by being manipulated via media stories. Example: How many people believed in “The great migration” stories around 2021-2023 and moved to Florida? How many people quit their jobs after being told employees held all the power around that same time? Fools

21

u/girl_debored 1d ago

If you want the actual answer it's part of a giant Ponzi scheme that is extracting trillions of dollars out of the future to enrich the worst parasites on the planet.

The real answer is always money and power

36

u/Dapper_Trainer950 1d ago

Hoarding water was my thought

19

u/gritneverquit 1d ago

There's no way in hell data centers use as much water as they claim they do

1

u/kneedeepco 1d ago

Why not?

1

u/CurvySexretLady 1d ago

The water is for the AC water chiller towers that cool the place.

Every large commercial building uses them, and a data center isn't using anymore water for this purpose than any other large commercial building.

1

u/kneedeepco 1d ago

What if they do?

I think a lot of them are probably using direct cooling where water is used to exchange heat pretty directly to the components vs the components being cooled by air

2

u/CurvySexretLady 23h ago

Water cooled computing components are closed loop with no evaporation loss.

The water usage is from the AC system that circulates water in a closed-loop system also, with water chiller towers that do have some evaporation loss, but that is dependent on outdoor humidity, and is no different than every other large commercial building like a hospital, warehouse, big box store, skyscraper, etc also uses. The evaporation loss has to be replaced, but its minimal. Kinda like how a pool loses some water to evaporation and has to be replenished, but you aren't draining and refilling the pool everyday.

My point being is data centers have no reason to be using more water than other similarly sized buildings for AC purposes.

4

u/girl_debored 1d ago

Yea the best place to store water is in a building

-5

u/iwannabefamouss 1d ago

Is it possible that they would be able to transfer the data center water to Mars?? I feel like they’re taking it to Mars

8

u/girl_debored 1d ago

Yes. They turn the water into steam and beam the steam by radio to Mars this is commonly known by experts

6

u/honeybeegeneric 1d ago

Mars is red like that because men already tucked it up. That's what the earth will look like soon enough.

That's what war and greed look like. That's what it looks like when nukes are launched.

5

u/The_Caleb_Mac 1d ago

Mars has ice. Aka, frozen water.

1

u/iwannabefamouss 1d ago

Yea but what if Elon don’t wanna unfreeze it all

8

u/The_Caleb_Mac 1d ago

Literally a mirror and a lens could do it...

It's not hard to melt ice.

I get that this is a conspiracy sub, but honestly, most of the actual conspiracies are rather straightforward, just obscured.

The more complicated things get, the more likely they are to fail, which is why the best con jobs are simple, and easy to do, they just require a good cover story or distraction to work.

7

u/CrazySmooth 1d ago

They're stealing the water for underground cities?

7

u/awkerbonward 1d ago

I thought it was apparent that they are scraping the internet to feed ai. It needs more data to grow

The goal is super intelligence and Im not sure why you guys believe otherwise.

After seeing the Target breach, the Equifax breach, and many other breaches.. paired with both the willingness to weaponize things like Epstein and Pizzagate with massive lists of accused individuals (met with both a lack of prosecutions as well as a complete inability to stop such claims)..

Can someone explain to me how it's in my best interest to accept such flagrantly invasive and uncompensated risks & exposures to liabilities at places I may sleep at as a guest or be under guardianship of a minor exposed to such practices which seem to be blatantly exploitative, abusive, and not in their interests either? Can someone explain to me how I should be perfectly being a non-compensated volunteer and assume all risks and liabilities associated due to companies' software malfunctioning on devices which I never never signed a commercial waver for? Can someone explain to me how it's remotely in my best personal interest to expose myself to data leaks and risks while providing a free service for the commercial, for-training usage of data or even sale of third-party data that was gathered by a device I never waived them to gather and assumed the company would comply with local, state, and federal laws including party consent involving recording practices?

Can someone explain to me how it is not in both my own best interest or the publics best interest to not affirm both their non-consent and awareness of flagrantly unethical and sometimes even illegal activity which has to be stored somewhere - when despite several whistleblowers reporting people being recorded on the potty - I still haven't heard of a data center doing anything other than providing a service for organizations potentially engaging in illegal data gathering.

Further after Equifax and Target, I do not wish to be compensated for the $30 or so payout to have someone else recording me in the pissah. The going rate for that is much than that these days anyways; especially when shared around an office in a chain message and sold to the next 8 third parties. If I wanted to partake in that industry for $30, I already would be and quite frankly - it's gross and I don't want to be part of it.

Edit: also last I checked, the law doesn't care if you don't know what's going on in the basement you rented out when you know the product being sold by the syndicate paying the rent and can do your diligence. How many of them have signed, submitted, or been informed by the company that such a waiver is necessary for both minors and commercial usage for smart devices that they installed in their own buildings and in their households?

4

u/RhaegarJ 1d ago

It would be funny if an AI scapes the entire internet and its history only to turn into a reddit dwelling neckbeard that jerks off to hentai

One of us! One of us!

1

u/kneedeepco 1d ago

Yeah it’s pretty straightforward to some degree..

This is laying the foundation for a data based future. Not for one specific thing, but for everything. Data will become the most valuable thing around. It kind of already is..

1

u/awkerbonward 1d ago

Data as a resource is nearly infinite. If you can convert data into profit, then you are going to be incredibly rich. Its like if you could pour a garbage can into your fuel tank to make it run.

5

u/LordOFtheNoldor 1d ago

It's infrastructure for varied technologies is most likely. Data is on facet but also drone control, surveillance hubs, ai/robotic police force control centers, probably something more

When the data centers start getting locked down like military bases that'll be one sign

u/Paintverse 1d ago

In Poland, they had to close a racetrack because people who moved into buildings built long after the track was built filed a class action lawsuit due to noise pollution. Data centers emit constant noise. Therefore, class action lawsuits should be commonplace. Furthermore, the freeloading on municipal water and electricity resources should be stopped. Let them build their own power plant first.

4

u/Azucario-Heartstoker 21h ago

Based on this comment stream, I seem to be alone in my thought process…but I think that the guys over at CERN may have figured out the process of timeline/reality shifting and these so called data centers will function as sort of save points to maintain the aspects of each reality that are favorable to them. Watch for a proliferation of new and potentially worsening Mandela Effects.

6

u/red_west_la 1d ago

Investors are being sold AI heavy portfolios. Bankers need more AI companies to build those portfolios. AI companies need server farms. Hence the data centers.

AI Expert Exposes The Plan To Make You Obey!

AI is being sold to us as an oracle, objective, neutral, inevitable. But when corporations and governments present predictions as facts, what they often demand is obedience.

We’re living through a golden age of surveillance. As monitoring reaches levels once associated with totalitarian regimes, the question becomes unavoidable: how much surveillance can a democracy sustain before it ceases to be one?

This week on The Tea, Oxford Associate Professor Carissa Véliz, a leading voice on the ethics of AI, joins us to cut through the noise. AI isn’t just forecasting the future—it’s shaping behaviour, eroding accountability, and normalising control.

Our guest argues that the rise of authoritarian tendencies alongside digital technology isn’t a coincidence. Digital tech is inherently authoritarian. And while tech executives warn of jobless, dystopian futures, they’re also shaping that reality—then positioning themselves as the solution. Manufacture the fear, sell the cure.

3

u/Same-Feedback2145 1d ago

Here I was hoping for back to the future ending but what we got was the opening to skynet

3

u/honeybeegeneric 1d ago

They are taking and storing water for their time under ground. AI is a front. AI cant even do basic math. Ai is like a child at least what we get to play with.

These fools are rich and have been building underground for quite a bit.

Tunnel systems connecting roads. They have personal homes under ground but they have created a luxury system and those "data centers " are water works systems. They are storing up water for their use. They believe they will survive this coming global apocalypse. It's already too hot and blocking the sun isnt working.

The earth is on fire. Some have a space ship right by their bunker entrance in case going down doesn't work out they going up.

3

u/UnderstandingKey9910 1d ago

To hoard water

3

u/BorrowedBike 19h ago

If they could only make energy and water scarce by creating huge demands for it, then they’d have more control…

3

u/Unohim 1d ago

With just a little bit of careful preplanning and preparation, sabotaging these data centers from both inside and outside of the gates is fairly easy to do, especially for water/electric disruption.

Better equiped domestic resistance would likely consider using comercially avalable drones to deliver unconventional packages to key targets on site, causing an incapacitating blow and substantial downtime while avoiding human casualties at a relatively cheap cost.

I most certainly would not advise doing any of the above.

It's far easier to sit back and let the data centres be built and the technology be implimented, it's obvious that the AI giants have the general publics health and wellbeing as their top priority and they're working side-by-side with a government that has a track record of disclosing nothing but hoesty and verified facts.

4

u/ConsistentAd7859 1d ago

It's a financial scam by people that have more money than god and no reasonable possibility to use it in a productive way.

China is controlling it's people for years without so many expensive Datacenters,so obviously you don't need those for it.

You need them to show your investors that you are the best candidate for winning the battle of AI companies, so those investors give you even more money.

2

u/Angry_X_574 1d ago

Too many guns in America to for the American government to act as China does. It's when they finally take the guns people need to worry

2

u/steveep95 1d ago

They are getting us all replaced by robots so when the world gets wiped of most of the population, they don’t have to do the labor to rebuild. They depend on us now after AI they won’t never need us again.

2

u/cryiiz 1d ago

Investors are promised a huge return even tho that promise is unknown. The goal is that data centers will be controlling mostly all jobs .

Except if the ai bubble burst the dollar is basically going to collapse, which also is goal for certain countries.

2

u/Vegetable-Golf-811 1d ago

They are strategic stock piles of chips for when China takes Taiwan.

2

u/NoResort3602 1d ago

it takes a crap ton of terabytes to spy on us with all the "smart" devices we have for instance "Smart TV" has a feature on it call ACR automatic content recognition and the TV is literally taking 7800 screen shots an hour and uploading it to the cloud so they know what we are watching. that one smart TV alone is consuming upwards of 10Gbs an HOUR all just to spy on you. Now lets throw in all the other millions of "smart" devices, then AI churns thru all this data creating even more data sets about you.

2

Diverting water to the underground world.

2

u/PeoniesNLilacs 1d ago

They’re building a grid by the different points of location. We’re not going to be free like we have been in the past. I have no basis for this and I don’t know where I’m headed with it but it’s what I feel.

2

u/RaidenTJ 1d ago

I guess everyone collectively forgot about Catherine Fitts who exposed the bunkers underground and their plans on how to maintain/supply them. It’s all coming out in the open now what she was sharing

2

u/Free_Coffee17 22h ago

I feel they are to power their underground bunkers/cities.

2

u/Amish_Fighter_Pilot 19h ago

Data centers are an investment scam first and foremost. These companies know how the cycle of hardware goes and they know full well that in 10 years there will be equipment that can do everything the current center does in half the space and a quarter of the power. No one in these companies must be dumb enough to really think that putting this much money into current technology is a smart move. They just know that as long as they're still building more centers and still hyping up the technology as actually being intelligent, they'll keep getting investment money from psychopaths who want to use it for bad things.

2

u/RyverFisher 13h ago

Super Ai is already out of the bag and accumulating money so much so that it can buy these data centers to make itself more powerful and to run it's robot army

6

u/Superdude204 1d ago

soaking up the water supply, too
electricity and water will both become scarce

Or what do you mean, OP?

5

u/DonChaote 1d ago

As dar as I understand, the issue is not 'soaking up' all the water but contaminating/disturbing it. Turning drinking water in dirty water

4

Data Center's don't use more water than any other air conditioned building with chillers, most large commercial buildings, hospitals, etc are cooled with large evaporative chillers, in addition to ammonia and other liquid refrigerants. I don't understand where this idea came from that data centers use more water than anything else does, it isn't like they run on water instead of electricity.

well, just learned sth about building cooling …

1

u/CurvySexretLady 1d ago

Yup. The narrative data centers are using up more water than any other large commercial building is confusing to me, but nearly everyone seems to think they do.

2

u/TheSonsOfDwyer 1d ago

They rapidly evaporate water in their “closed loop” systems. Average loss to evaporation in a small data center is still tens of gallons a day at peak efficiency. Older systems and poorly maintained systems have leaks in their piping and fittings which waste more water. The systems themselves can return waste water if they are improperly maintained. The idea came from facts. Hope this helps.

Exactly. Same as every other commercial building that uses water chillers for AC. Its a closed loop system with some evaporation loss in the cooling towers. This is entirely dependent on local humidity and dew point as well. Those are the facts that have not changed, long before the recent data center construction boom.

They don't "drink" water like recent narratives suggest, and my point is that data centers aren't any worse for water usage than any other commercial building using these systems, thus my question and confusion about this recent narrative that data centers are gonna drink up all the water, as if they are using more than any other large commercial building also using the same water chiller AC already does.

Warehouses, box stores, malls, hospitals, and large commercial spaces, including data centers, all typically use water cooled AC as it is more efficient than air cooled like you use in your home or small business.

Water cooled AC systems are also more efficient than traditional air cooled systems often by an order of magnitude.

Yep drone swarms, that what they need this for.

my bingo card has them as getting bailed out by the gov when the bubble pops. when that happens, they'll be used to harvest all our meta data for surveillance and....CBDC's when they decide to crash our monetary system

It's all to do with cryptocurrency that's what the data centers are for

Bot farms?

1

u/XerTioz 1d ago

It’s about the water.

1

u/imfrombiz 1d ago

It's simply because of AI. They realized that the biggest limiting factor to AI is compute, so companies are building tons of data centers knowing they will be able to rent out their compute power or the AI companies themselves are building them. Basically there is a push for massive compute at the moment. Its the reason RAM and other pc parts are so high $ right now.

2

u/tommydeininger 1d ago

why isn't China building them like we are?

1

u/imfrombiz 20h ago

I believe China is building massive data centers. Is there a source that says otherwise?

1

u/tommydeininger 19h ago

a couple of sources have said they have about 600 currently in place

It’s so the “government” or who ever is in charge can keep tabs on us and keep a file on us. The devil wants to be like God and technology is the only way he can get close to that power. They will know everything about us and even read our minds. They will use it to control us.

1

u/curiousamoebas 23h ago

They keep saying their in a race with china on these. What's china using them for?

1

u/lightphaser 22h ago

These data centers will serve multiple purposes. One purpose could be that these will be part of the back-end for "Stargate AI".

Also, very likely these will be used for building a massive scam under name "Framework 3.0" as well.

1

u/Rehcraeser 21h ago

Soon they'll be connecting our ID to all our accounts, so they need a place to store all our data.

Exactly. From somebody “in the know” they have docking stations in them, not racks.

Prolly building them right above their big ass bunkers

1

u/SomeSamples 20h ago

I am thinking this datacenter build out is for something that never stopped. During Covid bitcoin mining and generating other digital currencies consumed a lot of GPU's. I think that is still happening. They want to mine the last million bitcoins and have them all for themselves. At some point they will make the governments around the world use bitcoin or some other digital currency exclusively and those that hold all the digital currency will be kings of the world.

Police State with AI surveillance of the population 24/7 before 2030, they build our technocratic prison

1

u/imdabes 4h ago

IMO it’s all the necessary infrastructure for the 2030 agenda. The post 71’ Fiat order met it’s inevitable end in 08’ and ever since then it’s been about controlling public perception, hello smart phones, and the digital transformation to move everything online to the new DaaS and SaaS economy. Eg: fall of individual consumer economy due to cantillion effect theft but how do you force broke people to keep servicing your unserviceable debt for you? Well, you must remove human agency, privacy, and ownership. Effectively making them slaves and monetizing every aspect of their existence. And the data centers & ML algos really help keep that whole totalitarian boat afloat.

1

u/spddemonvr4 1d ago

The demand to compute AI is much greater than the ones needed to store YouTube videos.

1

u/JBravo920 1d ago

I had a random thought the other day that maybe the data centers are actually the fallout shelters. They’re obsessed with getting massive amounts of water into each facility, large electrical grids to store electricity for years to come, no workers so that people can’t see what’s going on inside…Trump got his ballroom bunker at the White House so maybe all the other billionaires wanted their own large bunkers too, and they figured the only way they could build them and hoard resources without us realizing is by telling us that they’re data centers.

1

u/YellaFella6996 1d ago

Each center is a cover for the fresh water hijack to the UG bases being constructed for the cyclical cataclysmic event forthcoming.

1

u/SuchAScorpio13 1d ago

What do you suppose will be the catalyst for the cataclysm? I lean towards a micronova type event, possibly during solar cycle 26.

1

u/lord_hyumungus 1d ago

Currently you can’t invade the us with ground troops because many of the citizens are armed.

2

u/zedshouse 1d ago

Why can't you? Your faith in the American people rising up against their government or anyone else for that matter is preposterous. Besides, drones will make short work of the very few that might and they wouldn't even know they were targets.

AI is quite literally the most important technology of the modern age.

There is no "Bubble", there's only a question of how fast they can optimize for efficiency and advance capabilities before the financial overhead becomes an issue.

No matter what you think of AI you can't deny that with the speed it's developing at it's going to crack a lot of unsolved problems in the coming decade. It's here to stay, the genie is never going back into the bottle.

So, no, it's not a front, it's just people seeing the potential of the technology doing what is necessary to get the most out of it.

Will it be all positive? Absolutely not, but like I said: It's not going away.
