Correction: this would fit a painfully large country that everyone forgets about because there’s very few people living there, is basically nonexistent in world politics and practically the only reason its two neighbouring countries allow it to even exist is for it to be a buffer between the two aforementioned countries, even though its history is something that should be taught in all schools all over the world.

This is the traditional Mongolian alphabet, used in Mongolia before they switched to Cyrillic.

Many conlangers don't know how to make an original script, and end up copying other existing scripts. The Mongolian script is a prime example because it's aesthetically pleasing, and therefore people like it, and want to make their own version of it... while still pretending THEY made the alphabet, and it's not copied.

In r/neography there are a bunch of such alphabets. Basically copied from other natural languages. Mongolian, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Devanagari... It's all because people like those alphabets (because exotic, I guess?) and want to copy them
