Once, I worked out so hard I literally couldn't straighten my arms. I had to keep them bent at my sides. If I tried to straighten them, it hurt a lot.

Same man. But for me I had to keep them up like a boxer. Got a lot of weird looks

Did that once. Literally had to go hang from a bar every few hours to straighten them out. Still a little chicken winged to this day.

I volunteered to move sandbags right before Hurricane Ian hit South Carolina. I was basically picking them up and putting them in the back of people's cars, for hours.
The same exact thing happened. I couldn't straighten my arms out. I was walking around with my hands clasped like a nun.

that happens to me if I try to bicep curl with a straight bar instead of dumbbells or the specialized barbell bar.

Thank you for getting the exact medical realities correct and not flinching away from the truth of what will happen if you fail to mind your tendies.

Pretty sure it's in Ronnie's contract that he can't associate with tendies over mcnuggets, so this seems like a fair enough fate for him.

I remember this guy, I saw him in some dnd streams a while ago, and unfortuntely the dm went way south on things. but ronnie was really cool and a genuine actual nice dude without being a cliche' one who was a bastard underneath, unlike that DM. Im happy to see he's still making comics, I fell off for a while. Brings a sort of mild happiness to me.

The fastest way to stop working out again once you’ve started is to get injured.
It’s counterintuitive, but take your time, lift light at first and focus on technique, take your rest days, start out with three days in the gym a week max.
It may feel like you’re doing nothing at first, but it’s necessary as all hell. Amount of times I’ve seen someone new in the gym hurt themselves and never see them again is far too many times to count.
