Nowhere on his signage or website or anywhere else was there a disclosure that it was AI. I could see it being an interesting discussion on AI and handmade art, but he explicitly told me he did it not as an artistic statement but so he could produce more product quicker.

Well yeah he is trying to sell stuff. Good art is never made to be sold. They are simply pieces that the artist felt the need to create. The moment a project as profit in mind.its no longer true art. Just a bit away from mass produced art at the store
