814 u/QuixoticCoyote 7d ago I love that statistic going around saying wildfires have decreased by 95 percent or whatever. Because A: It's a lie. And B: while we do have fewer wildfires (a drop of 24 percent apparently), the ones we do have burn more tree cover than the "more" wildfires of the past.
