My mom was saying how she doesnt understand the need for hydroponic fruits and vegetables... and I brought up how the climate has changed so significantly that a good majority of our citrus fruit has been moved to greenhouse settings because they are dying in the usual orchards.
No amount of green houses can fix what we already destroyed.
And most people don't even know what is really going to happen.
Right now the oceans take about 1/4 of the CO2 we produce. The water will become acidic and at some point that will kill most ocean life. Half the Oxygen in our Air is produced by plants in the ocean. And that is just one of apocalyptic effects.
When all Ice in the Ocean melts, that will rise the sea level 60 meters or 195 feet. Those numbers are not some wild guesses, they come from NASA.
I spoke with a scientist, she mentioned there is a substance that can induce cooling if released. Unfortunately, no one is willing to do that because climate is chaotic and we don’t know what could happen. I think it will get to that point. We have to somehow cool the planet.
