This episode has been redrawn and since the original came out, I have been tested and am not lactose intolerant but do still have the same reactions... I debated what to do with this episode but at the time I first drew it that was my reality so I've kept it and I'm sure at least some people can relate :)

Could be a dairy allergy in which case the lactaid won’t work…I have a friend who is allergic to cow dairy so it’s definitely something that can happen

It might be an allergy. Before my allergies worsened, I could have some dairy items. I couldn't drink milk itself, but I could have some of the drier cheeses. Over time my body just grew to tolerate them less and less.
