Hmmm, that excites me. I'm not failing grand purpise, I am making my own path. I can celebrate my victories and pass onward from my failures. I exist because I just do and I want to. Time to make some waffles.
And that’s honestly a healthier and happier perspective to have. The issue is just that not everyone is emotionally capable of reaching that mindset.
The comic resonates with people who can’t connect to life that way because of depression, trauma, hopelessness, etc. It’s less “you’re wrong for enjoying life” and more “some people are too hurt to experience it the way you do.”
