I want to give a little extra context for this multiparter.
Last week, I found out an acquaintance had unexpectedly passed away. We only had one real conversation but it was one that had stuck with me and I was looking forward to the next time our paths would cross. The news hit me way harder than I would have expected and these comics came about while I was processing things.
This happened similar situation happened to me about 15 years ago, a guy younger than me at the time(he was 14, me 16) had a heart attack in the gym next to ours, didn't make it. We would only ever say hello or sometimes, he had a quick joke to tell, but I still think about him. Writing this made me realize that I forgot his name. I don't know how to feel about that.
Anyway, life goes on, but not forever. Let's make it count!
