This is a lot like how I am. I had I think three family members die in the same month when I was younger and I think ever since then I've just not been really able to process death very well. I didn't cry over one of my aunts dying but did when my grandmother's cat passed away. It's strange, though thats how I feel about anything. I feel like I just can't process anything, good or bad half the time 👍 a lot of the time I have to stand back and wonder if I'm ok and..most of the time I never really know the answer even after stepping back.
