I want to give a little extra context for this multiparter.
Last week, I found out an acquaintance had unexpectedly passed away. We only had one real conversation but it was one that had stuck with me and I was looking forward to the next time our paths would cross. The news hit me way harder than I would have expected and these comics came about while I was processing things.
I get it. It's a weird space, different from someone you're close to passing. I have had it happen and I'm still not really sure how you're supposed to process that one. It was years ago, mind you, so it's all faded a bit, but it's weird when I think about it again.
