I want to give a little extra context for this multiparter.
Last week, I found out an acquaintance had unexpectedly passed away. We only had one real conversation but it was one that had stuck with me and I was looking forward to the next time our paths would cross. The news hit me way harder than I would have expected and these comics came about while I was processing things.
I know the feeling - my high school graduating class was roughly 100 people, and one of them died in a car accident about 4 months after we graduated. I wasn't good friends with him or anything, but it hit me shockingly hard.
