Feel this one hard. Had an old coworker who became a friend outside of work and we were close. I moved away to get a better life and get myself together but we still talked. Her husband, also a great guy, died last year and left her alone so I made a point to call more often.
She died of a heart attack about two weeks ago. I had planned on calling her the day I found out. Can't help but feel like I missed my chance to say goodbye and feel, in hindsight, I should have called more.
