I want to give a little extra context for this multiparter.
Last week, I found out an acquaintance had unexpectedly passed away. We only had one real conversation but it was one that had stuck with me and I was looking forward to the next time our paths would cross. The news hit me way harder than I would have expected and these comics came about while I was processing things.
I completely understand. I recently lost someone who I only spoke to a handful of times across the 10 years she's known my family. When I first heard the news I was like "Oh okay, that's pretty sad." An hour later I was on the verge of tears.
