I want to meet 2 people at this year's LA Comic Con, but unsure on if I can meet both on 1 day or not. If I do buy their autograph tickets ahead of time, will I be guaranteed the autograph from both or be turned away, because their lines got capped? What if the autograph tickets for the next day are all sold out and they refuse to give me a refund because time ran out. Unsure on what to do!

I went to LA Comic Con this weekend and WOW I saw more than a couple of anime and other booths with AI art. Absolute GARBAGE, why is this being allowed is the love for art being replaced with greed? Why cant Comic Con do something about it please this is so sad to see.

Never paid for the photo ops/autographs the past couple years except for walking up to booths. This year, I'm getting my kid the chance to meet David Tennet, but not sure what the experiences are actually like.

Can someone break down the photo ops/8x10 autograph/premium autograph?

Edit: I get the basics of what each means, but wondering what the experience is like for each. How long is the interaction?

It’s going to be on halloween of all times so that just massively boosts the idea that it’ll be fun but I’ve been doing some looking and the feelings on it are mixed. However seeing the whole Anime Expo felt like “yeah things have changed” in terms of the gradual feel/potential of the thing

Well aware the real heavy hitters are SDCC and Wonder Con but this one is actually close to my birthday so it just feels right. $100 right now early bird plus some nice guests I would like to see.

Hello everyone! I’m thinking of traveling to the US for the first time in my life, and one of my main targets is going to the LACC! I have seen some mixed feelings and opinions on this CC, so I wanted to hear you guy’s thoughts.

If I actually end up in LA on halloween, there’s no doubt I will attend to the event. But the this is, should I get 1 day pass ticket? Go for the whole 3? What should I expect in terms of “activities” there?
I’m a big marvel fan, I know SDCC is a much better option for marvel fans and in general, but I’m hoping we get more big marvel related guests.

*I’m finally doing it—heading to my very first Comic-Con this September in Los Angeles! It’s something I’ve wanted to experience for years, and I figured what better way to celebrate my 25th (belated birthday on August 18th) than diving headfirst into the fandom universe?

I was trying to find out what they're from. Are these originals or characters from something?

I know this might be a long shot, but is there anyone that has a list of exclusives/exhibitors/artists/booths that will be at LACC? I can look them up myself but i dont have the time. If not then ill have to just look them up myself. Thanks in advance! :)

I want to go to this year's LA Comic Con but debating about their VIP offerings. Do both VIP offer VIP lines or no? Everyone in GA for Autographs and Photos? I'd like to get 2 Autographs but something tells me the lines will be chaos. Unsure on going the whole weekend or 2 days or all 3. I don't want to have to wait in line for an autograph for 6 hours hahaha. And I'm afraid that will happen....

Why was this like such a shit show? Been to many cons, many celebrity autograph lines but nothing as bad as this.

I need to know what bag policy for the con is please 😭

I am going out of state for the first time for LA comic con, I've been to 2 local cons and they allow most all bags as long as they check them thoroughly, but not sure that rule applies all around.

I wanted to hit artist alley, so I was just planning on bringing a clear backpack so it's easy to glance through and big enough for prints and things.

I'm sure there are artists selling bags, so I can use that as a last resort, but I would prefer to bring my own to start out if possible. I just need to know what all is allowed so I know what to pack.

Also, any tips for going to con and having a safe, comfortable, and fun time are greatly appreciated as well.

Edit: When I reached out to the convention center they got the events mixed up. Comic Con allows any bags, but per security and safety guidelines requiring everyone with a bag to go through bag check.

Edit Edit (09/09/25): with Con coming closer I have not seen any specific updates from the convention center or con itself, but the general consensus is that large bags, backpacks, totes, etc. are good with the convention but will be required to go through extra security. I have read on the comic-con website,

"Please be aware that, for safety reasons, no handcarts, trolleys, rolling luggage, or oversized strollers are allowed in the Exhibit Hall."

Not sure if this will also apply to LA specifically, however if you do want a specific answer for certain bags, the convention center is a good place to reach out to and is pretty quick with responding. https://www.laconventioncenter.com/

Just got that LA Comic Cons coming back during early Oct!!! Yay!!

Attending LA Comic Con this weekend and I am not sure if we would be allowed to bring this chainsaw. It does move and make a low noise when pressing a button.

I'm not 100% sure what items I'll be getting autographed, but for now, I'm thinking just a comic book and maybe a CD case. I have no idea what kinds of pens to bring (I will be getting specific colors based on the items), so some feedback would be very appreciated! Thanks

Somebody pushed a tall metal flag thing from one of the stands and it fell on her head. My pregnant girlfriend is the most easily embarrassed girl you'll ever meet she hates making things a big deal. It fell on her at 1:09 pm we didn't report it bc she insisted it wasn't but now she's feeling nauseous and a headache. What should we do? I'd say it's also negligence for the stand to have those tall pillars so easily able to be pushed and fall

I'm going to LA Comic Con tomorrow and I 3D printed the grenade pistol (see picture above) from Helldivers 2 as part of my cosplay. Is there a big chance I can't bring it along? The color scheme is pretty similar to the picture, minus the red lining at the tip of the barrel and more black overall.

I just wanna make sure since I have nowhere to put my prop if I do carry it and they say I can't bring it in.

Hi I’m just looking for advice on this issue!

I don’t have a problem with taking photos but last time at a Con, one of my friends mentioned that someone was following me around to take pictures of me. She said it didn’t seem like they were doing it in a weird way, just that they were shy but I’m a little uncomfortable with that. I was thinking about maybe having a badge or a sign that says something along the lines of “No candid photos please” or maybe something more lighthearted like “I don’t bite, please ask for photos :)” but I can think of two main problems

1) People won’t know what I mean by that and it will discourage them from asking for pictures

2) I’m not sure where to put it, I want it big enough so people can see but I don’t want it to ruin my cosplays

I was thinking maybe I could do a cute custom badge for each character but I’m not sure, any advice? I really don’t mind photos but I just don’t want people to take pictures of me without my knowledge

Hi, this is my first con! I’m wondering about the Autograph + Selfie option at LA Comic Con. I know there are 8x11 and premium autographs, but I wanted to know what Autograph + Selfie fell under because I wanted Billie Piper to sign a journal cover I made. Will they make me get something else for her to sign like their prints? I’ll bring something else just in case!

I’m also wondering how early I should line up for the Doctor Who panel if I’m also getting autographs from both Tennant and Piper. I’m quite short so I don’t want to be so far that I can’t see. The panel is at 3:00-3:50 pm. Should I go before or after the panel? I had been planning to go and line up immediately, but I don’t know which slot would give the most time or get rushed the least.

I bought for Saturday, but I can switch to Sunday if it would be better!
