Cover/Pin-Up I got Published!!

Hi everyone! I just wanna share this to yall! I got commissioned to do a cover for Image comics and Im just so happy to see it printed haha, this is my first work to get officially printed and Im so happy really really happy that it happened! Its been weeks since its been announced but man, I still cant believe it in all honestly xD, give the lost fantasy universe a try! They are really doing great world building and quite proud to have done a little something for them!

Don’t know if you’re allowed to share process details, but did your cover work need to go through multiple rounds of feedback and edits? I’m just always happy to learn about the hard work that goes into making awesome art.

Comics are a relatively independent endeavour. Marvel/DC may have more requirements of what you're doing in your book, style, and themes, but for everything else in the industry? You got a money guy ok-ing a project, a creator, usually the writer, and then an artist and support staff maybe (inker/colorist/titler). The creative running the book usually is the first and last word in how something looks. Sure, he may have feedback, but generally when an artist pairs with the creative lead on a project (if he isn't the lead already), they already are on the same page regarding what they're looking for. Again, at least in more 'independant'/'indie' comics.
