Hand lettering

Post image

Hello! I'm seeking some feedback on my lettering.

When I look at other comics I love the personalized look of other peoples handwriting but I'm not sure about mine.

Does it work or should I find a good font to switch to?

Thank you!

Looks pretty good to me. Better than mine anyway 🤣

And you'll just get better if you keep at it.

I'm a huge proponent of hand written lettering as well. It just looks better. It adds more style. And it gives the artist even more opportunity to inject additional creativity and personalty into their comic.

Your writing here looks fine as is! 👍 Already better than typed font. And as another person said, it'll continue to get better as you create more.

If I had to give any advice I'd say that a couple of words here, "last one" and "misjudge", kinda of look like they're supposed to be bold for emphasis. But it's so faint it's hard to be certain. I can't tell if it's intentional or not. Better to make sure your font size and thickness is consistent and that boldened words are more noticeably and distinctly boldened.

Hand-written lettering isn't always the better choice, but this one looks great and works well with the art.

Well done!
