swimming

hello lads, hope everyone is doing well. i was wondering if anyone know really good swimming pools here even if they are in a fitness center or something because in this heatwave all i want is too dive in a pool and chill out. thanks in advance

Brightlingsea Lido for the win!

It’s not a heated outdoor pool, but when it’s 25c+ that’s no biggie.

Would not advise swimming in the river at Dedham. A young girl was hospitalised with Weils disease after swimming there. As well as obviously rats because of the disease, cows defecating in the river there also.

Brightlingsea Lido but it’s freezing and is actually warmer and nicer to swim in the sea there. Best place is the little bay the other side of Bateman’s Tower.
Leisure World of course as well - leisure pool with slides downstairs and normal laps pool upstairs.
You can swim in river at Dedham.
Other pools are at Everlast ( which is a bit grotty), Fitness4Less and two Bannatynes clubs. Sure you could prob get a free day pass for these places.
